Classes take place in a central London venue on Tuesday evenings.
Just bring yourself. I have mats. Wear exercise clothes you feel comfortable in. We don’t wear shoes to do Callanetics, we do it bare foot or with socks.
There are flexible payment options, with discounted block booking as well as drop in prices.

Please come 10 minutes early for your first public class session to discuss any injuries or conditions as well as your goals.
There is no need to book for further public classes once you have made a block purchase, just turn up. Should space become an issue I will contact you with booking instructions.
Please arrive on time for private sessions. I will not be able to extend your allotted time more than 10mins. If you are late you will still be charged for the full hour.
I will ask you to sign a consent form and provide your contact details so I can keep in touch. All your details remain completely confidential and will absolutely not be shared with anyone else.
During a group class we will work all areas of the body, upper body, legs, hips, bum, stomach and the pelvic floor muscles. Stretching is an important part of the class. Each class ends with physical and mental relaxation.
Callanetics uses a unique pulsing method to work the muscles. We don’t use any equipment, other than a ballet barre. Callanetics works on engaging the natural intelligence of your body.
There is no jumping or jerking, it is totally non-impact. But the results are astounding.
Group classes are mixed ability. The powerful but subtle nature of this method allows people at a variety of fitness levels to exercise together. Each exercise can be modified for fitness level, injury or genetic condition.
Classes are small, between 5 and 12 people. I provide close attention and instruction to each person. I support and give guidance tailored to each individual and their body.
During class I encourage people to work at their own pace, to listen and work with their body, not against it. I also encourage people to challenge themselves, to concentrate and work hard, and believe in the power of mind body coordination.
I am determined that my clients reach their goals, and support them on their journey. Private classes are the fastest way to get there.
Through the close attention of a private class we can address and even uncover specific issues, helping to restore the natural intelligence of your body.
I believe you should benefit from our sessions in everyday life. I work with clients to utilise the learning in a dynamic way, incorporating the principles in to your daily routine.

In fact I feel the stereotypes we are constantly exposed to damage our self-worth and hinder the struggle for equality in all senses – be that gender, ethnicity, disability, socio-economic status, faith or sexual orientation.

I also work in the charity and community sector, have a new found fascination with biopolymers, and am a Mum.
Callanetics changed my life through enabling me to cope with the debilitating effects of hypermobility syndrome and injuries through gymnastic training. It got me thorough pregnancy and has helped me to get my strength and stability back. I thank Callan Pinckney for inventing the method and my Grannie for introducing it to me in the late 80’s (I’m that old).
I don’t wear leotards but I do have a killer pelvic floor. Callanetics changed my life. I want to help it change yours for the better too.
